Stewart, Colbert To Rally in DC

HOT TREND TODAY FROM UNCLE GOOGLE Minggu, 19 September 2010 , ,

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will take over Washington's National Mall October 30 for the Rally to Restore Sanity and March to Keep Fear Alive.

The event will presumably bring together people not represented by the Tea Party, which had its own rally in DC last month.

'Daily Show' host Stewart called his rally as a 'clarion call for rationality' and noted it was like 'Woodstock, but with the nudity and drugs replaced by respectful disagreement.'

Colbert--or 'The Rev. Sir Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, D.F.A.'--wants to embrace the principles America was built on: 'Freedom. Liberty. And Fear -- that someone might take our Freedom and Liberty.'
